About Us

Jenifer and Sarah, and a number of their friends, have kicked around the idea for Lipstick Money for far too long.  They kept waiting for someone to write it - to help them turn down the noise and find those little bits of day-to-day happiness.  Finally, they decided they'd better write it themselves.  The concept of "a joy that's shared is a joy made double" is what it's all about - they want to spread the sunshine, and they welcome your Lipstick Money moments or ideas too.  Cheers!

Jenifer, known as Jen to her friends and family, is at home in the San Francisco Bay Area when she's not in her native New Hampshire or in Florida.  She's a mom to two great kids, one precious spaniel, and a wife to her wonderful husband.  In between juggling kids' Brownie outings and tennis lessons, Jen is actively involved in her community, someday hopes to play more golf, and also uses her background in media to help companies grow their marketing endeavors.

• She can't live without:  Her kids & husband.  After that:  Stubbs and Wootton slippers, Periwinkle cashmere ruffle sweater, a good book, and ok, her iPhone.
• Favorite designer:  J. Crew and J. McLaughlin by day, Giorgio Armani by night
• Fun little known fact about Jen:  She's a rusty helicopter pilot.  #802 of the Whirly Girls.

Sarah comes to the San Francisco Bay Area from the great state of Missouri - St. Louis to be exact.  She is a mom to one fabulous son, with one bambino on the way, and loves to hit the slopes with her dear husband any chance she gets.  Sarah believes in giving back when she's not shuttling between playdates and mommy & me classes.  A foodie at heart who's helped some leading brands manage their PR and marketing campaigns, Sarah loves to whip up fun dishes in the kitchen and help companies be top of mind with consumers.

• Vacation Destinations:  Telluride, Park City and Hawaii.  Dreams of getting back to Europe and joining Jen on that Escape to Shape adventure in Bali.
• She can't live without:  Beyond her wonderful family, she would be lost without her Nikon 35mm, her old school and just plain old Kate Spade planner, strong coffee and of course her iPhone.
• Favorite designer:  Diane Von Furstenburg, Sulu tunics and Tory Burch.  That being said, she's wearing a lot of Gap Maternity these days.  
• Fun little known fact about Sarah:  She spent a summer living in a Buddhist temple.....ohm!
